Kitchen trash bags & recycling can be stored in the screened-in porch. Do not trash outside elsewhere as we share the neighborhood with hungry bears and other wildlife.
Please consolidate small trash bags (eg, bathroom) into the large kitchen trash bags to make it easier to carry and put in a car later.
⁞NEW⁞ Bottle deposit redemptions are separated from other recyclables. Most aluminum, glass, & plastic beverage bottles are redeemable (look for "ME 5¢" or "ME 15¢").
All other recyclables do not need to be sorted, including cardboard. Bethel accepts most plastics, including #1-7. They do NOT accept batteries, styrofoam, plastic bags/wrapping, or anything containing food waste. To learn more, visit 71timberline.com/recycling.
Become a house hero! Take the trash & recyclabling (except bottle deposits items) to the Bethel Town Transfer Station at 1069 Mayville Rd, which is open Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9am to 4pm, except Easter, Christmas Day, and New Years Day. Or, put the bottle deposit items into a green CLYNK bag with a barcode sticker (in the closet) and dropped off at a participating Hannifords.
Be considerate and share the space.
